Publication Date: September 28th, 2017

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Okay - I really have no idea where to start.

You guys have no idea, how long I've been waiting for this book. I mean since the first day it was officially announced I marked its release day as busy. (Even though there was a change of plan and the book got behind with the release - I still had the day as busy.)

And when I finally received it on my kindle... I had to study for my next german exam. Guess what - I did not study. I now have a really bad grade, but was totally worth it. (My parents, teachers and friends think not, but I do!!!)

I mean HELLO - the blurb alone left me breathless.....

BUT it was the cover for me. I mean I know, I shall never judge a book by its cover - but hot damn look at this. I'm so going to have this framed and make it my religion.
He's my wallpaper and I already called DIBS on him!!

Well, back to the book:

1) What makes this book different from all the others?
It's nothing special. It's just a hell of an entertaining book. If you're taking a shit or if you're sitting in a bookstore - this book will be the perfect company.
I'm just trying to say, that this book will make you smile again and maybe even believe in luck. And we seriously need more books like that.

2) Why should anyone read it?
Uhm, because it's Racer?! I mean guys, if you read all the other books, then you definitely want to read this one too. And to the poor one's who're hearing the first time about this series: "Get the fuck off this blog, open amazon and buy the first book online and then start reading. You'll thank me later."

No, honestly - I have to say, that this book did not touch me like Remy's did. But I was still on fire and I still loved every single scene of it.
It was more a sweet and entertaining story, while Remy's had more drama et cetera in it and I have a flair for the drama, hahah.
As I said, I enjoyed it so freaking much.
I fell for Racer Tate - hard and fast.
And my heart will be with him for a long time.

Every time when he said something, this was my reaction...

If you're looking for:
- a hot read
- a story with amazing characters
- a cocky, dreamy, swoon-worthy and alpha-ish male character
- a lot of passion
- very lovable characters
- wit and sassy humor
- she having not one, not two, but three older brothers
- kind of scarred characters, but not broken
- a secret
- a dream
- about family
- fantastic references and cameo's
- mysterious characters
- again really really hot scenes, where your body just melts down.
Then you're perfect here!!

My own opinion:
I'm not a believer of fast love and for sure not of "love on first sight"... But this book made me believe. This story pulled me at it's side and I for sure I'm going to stay there. It convinced me so-oh much.

And after the one Iron Man reference, this book had me clinging at it's little finger. I was a goner from there. It was my cherry on the top.

You know, that I absolutely love this cover, but the thing is - I love the characters more:

While the whole book - I just watched him fall in love, fight his fears, open up and just give love. Racer Tate was a dream come true. And every time, he talked bad about himself I just wanted to go hug him and never let him go.

He was so pure and still alpha-ish. How's that possible. Is that even allowed. Katy Evans, did you just break the forth wall?! And now I just want to have my own Racer Tate. I want to lay beside him and fall asleep next to him every night. I want to fight and cry over him, because he would be more than worth every tear. And if he looked as good, as the person on the cover - it would be a bonus. Summed up: He's the most precious character and I adored him. #He'smine #both #character #and #covermodel

And Lana, was (as jealous I am) the perfect girl for him. I liked her a lot. Nowadays I tend to hate every female lead, but here I liked her. The thing is jus, I was so overwhelmed by Racer, that she kind of got in his shadow. I did not care much about her. But I think, that in real life - there is no human like her. Someone this selfless and a big heart like hers. A person, that gives and gives but never takes. I think after meeting (Yes, meeting :p) such a character, I kind of want to change myself to the good.

My rate: 4 out of 5!!!!

A bad boy with something to prove.
A woman with a mission.
The race of their lives.
The love of a lifetime.
I don’t think his parents expected him to live up to his name—Racer Tate—but once he felt the adrenaline rush behind the wheel, he was addicted.
He's the fastest, fiercest driver around.
Scouting new talent brings me to his doorstep...
but his smile sends me to my knees.
The sexy, mysterious Racer Tate is not the kind of man a girl like me falls for. He's secretive, reckless, elusive. But his proximity pushes me beyond reason, and his kiss....
This is our last chance to win, and he is our only hope. I'm supposed to watch him—make sure he doesn't get into trouble. But it's an impossible task. And now the one in heart wrenching, toe-curling, soul-crushing trouble is me. Because when your heart belongs to someone, their truths become your own, and their secrets become your salvation...or your curse.
He says he wants me. He says I'm the One. But he also thinks he'll break my heart, one piece at a time until it's gone.

I’m still reeling. While people approach him, he cuts a path straight to me, his gaze penetrating and target-like; making me want to bolt.
His lips do that little upward tilt they do that seems so sexy, and for a second, I feel like I’m lightheaded.
I gulp, and then feel mad at myself for acting like some idiot as fucking devil-Racer Tate reaches me, throws himself into a seat next to me, and turns to look at me expectantly with the most gorgeous grin on his face.
I don’t know what to say.
This guy has left me sort of speechless.
“So … ” I say, staring in the distance at his beat-up mustang, then at him.
“So … ” he says too, in his deep voice, his smile a little more wicked than it was two seconds ago. He glances at my mouth.
Oh god.
Why am I licking my lips?
It only made his eyes narrow and darken.
I open my mouth to speak, failing to find words. He smells like sweat and soap and shampoo, and I feel my traitorous nipples push up to my top again. Why do they do that when he’s around?
“This is illegal,” I state.
His voice is husky from exertion, and his eyes glint with laughter. “That’s why it’s fun.”
I look away from his eyes, trying to focus and clear my head. He leans over and peers into my face, his face shadowed by the moonlight and his jaw now carrying a little scruff. “Are we in agreement?” he presses.
“No.” I glare and shake my head, meeting his cocky gaze. “You’re reckless, Racer.”
“So are you, Alana.”
“It’s just … Lana.”
His brows fly up in surprise. “And a bit of a liar too.”
I purse my lips, still glaring as my gaze goes back to his car. Girls are rubbing against it as if it were him, and I find it disgusting. Why are women always acting so slutty around race car drivers and bad boys?
“You crashed your car,” I say flippantly.
“You crashed my car,” he contradicts, amused.
I laugh, then scowl in his direction. “You crashed it more. I can’t believe you were making such a fuss about me crashing into you when it was just a little kiss—”
He leans in to peck my lips—fast but firmly. “That’s a kiss.”
I lose my breath.
My eyes wide.
He eases back, lips smiling as he comes to his feet and stretches his hand out to take me by the elbow and help me to my feet.
“Let’s get out of here.” He starts walking, leading the way.
“And go where?”

“Anywhere I can get my hands on you.”
