The Paper Princess Trilogy by Erin Watt

April 08, 2017

Thank god for boredom - Because I would have never found these books as early as I did if it wasn't for boredom. So yes thank god for boredom.

Do you have a book, for which you wold give up chocolate? A book which conquered your heart like none or no one before. A masterpiece which changed your life in so many ways. A book where you can only grin like an idiot just only from thinking about it? Do you know that feeling? Yes? -Then you know how I feel about these three books and if your answer is No, then you have to find yourself a book which will give you the same feels. And paper princess might just be the book, which will give you that what your heart has been aching for.

I LOVED these books (Love is not even the right word for what I'm feeling). I have devoured these pieces of heaven like there was no tomorrow.
I couldn't lay them down. I just couldn't. I loved every bit of these three books. There was no scene I would have re-write in another way. It is just perfection in ebook or paperback. And the wait from books one to book two and then from book two to book three nearly killed me. (YES, the first two books end with a cliff-hanger - but totally worth the anxiety attacks)

While reading this book you will feel everything. Love, happiness, satisfactory, hate, sadness, anxiety, misery, desperation, bloodlust, lust hehe and other emotions. Even those - which you haven't been feeling for a while.

The authors did a really good job. I am so astonished by the writing style. It's so easy to read and you really do understand everything. There are no pissy complications while reading. You won't have to stop your easy read flow, because you have too look something up on "urban dictionary". (Only when really cringey-scenes come up. But we all hate them because we love them so much, right?)

And the character development!! I did hate 'em all (The Royal-Brothers) at the beginning but then I loved each one of them. I really need these five in my life - like right now! They all merged together are the epitome of my dream man. Hell I would even take the father. I just need them but for the sake of my life you just can't go on amazon or Ebay and buy them. And before I forget it - I DIBSED on all of them, so don't even think about them...

Well, back to the book: I promise you that you won't regret it. These books are literally a piece of heaven. I fell in love immediately. I even payed CHF 35.- extra for shipping costs only because i couldn't wait anymore.
This book will probably be the bedtime story of my non-existing children. On the other sight - there are some naughty scene and I really don't want my kids becoming as perverted as I am. But no actually I am kind of perfect.

So yes, that's all I have to say. Make yourself happy by only spending a few bucks on a book. It's like winning one Million Dollar with only a few swiss-franks or dollars or euro's and all the other currencies. :D

Paper Princess:

From strip clubs and truck stops to southern coast mansions and prep schools, one girl tries to stay true to herself.

These Royals will ruin you…

Ella Harper is a survivor—a pragmatic optimist. She’s spent her whole life moving from town to town with her flighty mother, struggling to make ends meet and believing that someday she’ll climb out of the gutter. After her mother’s death, Ella is truly alone.

Until Callum Royal appears, plucking Ella out of poverty and tossing her into his posh mansion among his five sons who all hate her. Each Royal boy is more magnetic than the last, but none as captivating as Reed Royal, the boy who is determined to send her back to the slums she came from.

Reed doesn’t want her. He says she doesn’t belong with the Royals.

He might be right.

Wealth. Excess. Deception. It’s like nothing Ella has ever experienced, and if she’s going to survive her time in the Royal palace, she’ll need to learn to issue her own Royal decrees.

“Somewhere along the line, I started thinking that if I just got through this bad experience, this bad day, that tomorrow I’d have something better, brighter, newer.
I still believe that. I still believe that there’s something good out there for me. I just have to keep going until my time comes.”

Broken Prince:

From wharf fights and school brawls to crumbling lives inside glittery mansions, one guy tries to save himself.

Reed Royal has it all—looks, status, money. The girls at his elite prep school line up to date him, the guys want to be him, but Reed never gave a damn about anyone but his family until Ella Harper walked into his life.

What started off as burning resentment and the need to make his father’s new ward suffer turned into something else entirely—keep Ella close. Keep Ella safe. But when one foolish mistake drives her out of Reed’s arms and brings chaos to the Royal household, Reed’s entire world begins to fall apart around him.

Ella doesn’t want him anymore. She says they’ll only destroy each other.

Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It’s like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he’s going to win back his princess, he’ll need to prove himself Royally worthy.

“I’m done playing games, Ella. No other girls exist in the world for me. If you see me talking to one, know that I’m talking about you. If you see me walking next to someone, I’m wishing it was you … You’re the only one for me.”

Twisted Palace:

These Royals will ruin you…

From mortal enemies to unexpected allies, two teenagers try to protect everything that matters most.

Ella Harper has met every challenge that life has thrown her way. She’s tough, resilient, and willing to do whatever it takes to defend the people she loves, but the challenge of a long-lost father and a boyfriend whose life is on the line might be too much for even Ella to overcome.

Reed Royal has a quick temper and even faster fists. But his tendency to meet every obstacle with violence has finally caught up with him. If he wants to save himself and the girl he loves, he’ll need to rise above his tortured past and tarnished reputation.

No one believes Ella can survive the Royals. Everyone is sure Reed will destroy them all.
They may be right.

With everything and everyone conspiring to keep them apart, Ella and Reed must find a way to beat the law, save their families, and unravel all the secrets in their Twisted Palace.

“She got under my skin the moment I met her, and she’s still there, in my blood, in my heart.”
